What are we doing?

Public Services Boards (PSBs) in the Hywel Dda University Health Board area (Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire) are carrying out an Assessment of Local Well-being.

The PSBs are partnerships of local organisations like councils, health services, emergency services and others who work together to improve well-being - things that help people feel happy, safe and well.

They want to find out about the well-being of local people and communities, now and for the future. Many things can influence the well-being of our individuals and communities, such as economic, social, environmental and cultural factors.

The information you give us will be used, along with other evidence, to produce Assessments of Local Well-being for Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.

These Assessments will then be used to put together Local Well-being Plans for each of the three counties for 2028-2033. The Plans will set out the Well-being Objectives and work of the Public Services Boards for each county to improve the economic, social, environmental and cultural well-being of West Wales.
